Court Owners & Tennis Service Providers - What Do I  Need To Know?

As a court owner or tennis service provider, you may  first want to familiarise yourself with the tennis community. Your Tennis Mate (“YTM”)  is a perfect platform to list your court or services to allow tennis players to view your profile and make a booking.

You may want to check out the other sections that relate to the tennis players who are going to use YTM to find and book courts and tennis services. This will give you a good idea of how they will use the YTM platform and will ultimately allow you to better plan on how to attract the tennis players who are looking at your profile to make a booking.

You will also find crucial information advising how transactions are handled and protected. It will provide you with better insight to prepare and complete your profile. There is also additional information that you will want to view regarding the requirements for using the platform as a court owner or service provider.

Who can view my court of tennis service listing?

Anyone who visits the YTM website will be able to view your listing.

Who can book my court or tennis service listing?

If you have a premium profile (i.e. a profile with a booking system), anyone who visits your listing on the YTM website and creates a YTM profile can instantly book and pay for your court or service offering.

Can I edit my profile details (i.e. pricing) once I have listed my court or service?

Yes. However, edits will only apply to bookings made after you made the changes; they will not apply to bookings already accepted.
While you edit, your changes will be automatically saved (to be confirmed by Chester). Changes may take up to 2 hours (to be confirmed by Chester) to appear on your public listing.

Can I make certain times 'unavailable' on my booking calendar?

Yes. Times with pending bookings and confirmed bookings will be automatically blocked on your calendar, which will be available for you and the YTM public to see .

Other times may be automatically blocked or available based on the settings you have identified in your booking preferences.

As an example, if within your preference setting you restrict tennis players to only book 2 months ahead of time, then dates beyond the 2 months will be blocked and dates within those 2 months will be available. The booking schedule moves forward everyday, so as time passes new dates will automatically become available.

Why Should I pay for a premium profile as opposed to a 'free' listing?

The premium profile provides you with the instant online booking schedule, which allows tennis players to view your availability based on ‘real-time’ and easily book your court or service offering. This will provide a smooth, efficient and user-friendly experience for prospective your ‘customers’ and will likely increase your success to improve bookings and ultimately revenue.

What happens if someone makes a booking and subsequently needs to cancel it (i.e. weather conditions, illness or other unforeseen circumstances)?

In the event someone needs to cancel their booking you will need to advise your customers what your terms and conditions are in relation to cancellations (i.e. refunds or credits). As YTM acts as an online booking provider and not a court owner or tennis service provider we will not be involved in the cancellation process. You will subsequently need to advise the customer how you will treat cancellations (i.e. refunds or credits).

Tennis Players - What do I need to know?

How long will it take to book a court or tennis service providers?

Instantly! If you want to book from a premium court owner or tennis service provider (i.e. coaches, fitness professional & hitting partners), you can do this by making an online booking through the booking system linked to the premium account holder If you want to make a booking with the free account holders you will need to contact them via phone or e-mail to make a booking. Therefore, we are unable to comment how long this will take!

What happens if I make a booking and I subsequently need to cancel my booking (i.e. weather conditions, illness or other unforeseen circumstances)?

In the event you the weather turns ‘foul’, it starts raining during your booking or there is another reason to cancel your booking, you will need to directly contact your court owner or service provider to arrange a ‘credit’ or ‘refund’. As YTM acts as an online booking system and not a court owner or tennis service provider the ‘refund’ or ‘credit’ process will be dependent on the specific terms and conditions of each court owner or service provider.

Do I need to create a profile on YTM?

If you want to book a court or tennis service you will need to create a free YTM profile.
The information we require is:
• Name;
• Email;
• Suburb;
and Age confirmation that you are 14 years old or above

However, if you just want browse the court listings you will not need to create a YTM profile.

Pricing & Payment FAQs

Is it safe to put my credit card details into this website?

Most likely. We don’t store any of your credit card information. That is all handled by our payment processor (insert here – who are experts in this) and we won’t share your personal information with anyone else without your consent.

What’s your privacy policy?

With your Consent:
We may share your information at your direction, consent or describe date the time of sharing, such as when you authorise third party websites, social networks or applications to access your YTM account. To assist with and facilitate bookings, we may share your information with other YTM Users as follows:

• When you as a Tennis Player request a booking, certain information about you will be shared with the Court Owner or Tennis Service Provider (and Co-Host, if applicable), including your full name, email, cancellation history, and any other information you agree to share.
• When you as a Premium court owner or tennis service provider have confirmed the booking, certain information is shared with the Tennis Player to coordinate the booking, such as your full name, phone number, and email.

We will not share your payment, billing and credit card information with other Members.
